HiNOTE Reactions
HiNOTE Reactions let your friends collectively react and comment on your HiNOTE. Think of it as the new group chat. Reactions are perfect for group birthday wishes, thank you notes, announcements, and daily acknowledgments.
Reactions turns your HiNOTE into a shared page where everyone can respond with a beautiful reaction, a comment, or both. You share one link, your group reacts in one place, and you see it all.

Setting up Reactions on a note
- Open a note and tap Add.
- In the Add to Your Note menu, tap Add Reactions on the "New! Get a Reaction" card.
- Fill in your Reactions details:
- Note Subject — the title your group will see on the page.
- Posted by — your name as it appears on the page. Optional, but recommended.
- Message for the Group — a short note to set the tone or give context. Optional.
- Expires On — the date your page goes offline. Tap to adjust.
- Tap Save.
You'll see a confirmation banner: You have enabled Reactions! Ready to share? Tap Send above. Your note is ready to go.
Sharing your note with the group
Tap Send at the top of your note. A standard iOS share sheet will appear — send your Reactions link to any group, however your group lives: text, WhatsApp, Instagram DM, wherever.
Anyone who taps the link can view your note and add a reaction. No app required.
Managing your Reactions page
Once Reactions is enabled, tap Add on your note to reach the Reaction Actions screen. From here you can:
- Send Your Note — share the link again to reach more people or nudge anyone who missed it.
- Edit Your Note Details — update your title, description, expiration date, or visibility settings.
- Edit Your Note Design — make changes to the visual design of your note. Updates will appear on the live page automatically.
- View Shared Note Page — see your note exactly as your recipients do, with all reactions and comments.
- Add a Message — send a message to everyone following the page. See below.
Sending a message to your group
Tap Add a Message from the Reaction Actions screen to post a note to your page. Your message appears on the Reactions page for all visitors, and everyone who's joined to follow reactions will get a push notification.
Good for adding context, building anticipation, or just keeping the group moment going.
What your recipients experience
When someone taps your Reactions link, they'll land on your note's page. They can:
- Add a Reaction — pick a HiNOTE-styled reaction, add their name and an optional comment, and verify with a quick phone number confirmation. Their reaction shows up on the page for everyone to see.
- Follow Reactions — get notified whenever someone new reacts. This links them to the HiNOTE app (or the App Store if they don't have it yet) so they can stay in the loop. No app is required to react, but the app is required to receive notifications.
Recipients don't need a HiNOTE account to react.
Hiding individual reactions
On your Reactions page in the app, each reaction has a Hide toggle next to it. Tap Hide to make that reaction invisible to other visitors. Tap Show to make it visible again. Only you can see hidden reactions.
Hiding all reactions
To hide all reactions at once, go to Reaction Actions → Edit Your Note Details and turn on Hide All Reactions. While this is on, reactions and comments are only visible to you in the HiNOTE app — visitors to the page won't see them.
Tap Save Changes to apply.
Deleting a Reactions note
Go to Reaction Actions → Edit Your Note Details and tap Delete Note at the bottom of the screen. This permanently removes the note and its page. Anyone who tries to open your link after deletion will find it no longer exists.
This can't be undone.
